EXPECTING THE EXPECTED!

If you’re a second year kid at KEMU… you’d have gotten your biochem test result today.

Ahem….

Ahem ahem…

Ahem ahem ahem…

With more red Fs than there are stars in the sky, worms in the ground, nerds in our class…the result sheet looked more red than a blushing red-gowned bride…hmmm

With all those on-the-spot invented answers… questions that seemed from another subject( yesss the biochem dept’s SEVERE inferiority complex with the physio dept has reached a new level people!!! Glucose transporters?? I ASK YOU!!) and the teeny tiny fact that I’d spent the whole day before (and the day before!) at a cousin’s wedding… this wasn’t unexpected. And with what almost every person I know has gotten on their tests… seems like EVERYONE was busy getting their COUSINS MARRIED!… heck no wonder the result’s like a blushing bride!!

So now its time to celebrate the FRATERNITY OF FLUNKHOOD. Yayyyyy!!!!!!! Cheers to all fellow flunkers!

You’ve made me proud (sob!)…

Like always… how amusing ;D

EXPECT THE UNEXPECTED

The day was a regular norm… till a friend lost a cell phone. My friend’s panicked whisper during the lecture was caught …

-some not-so-lovely comments by H.M. himself

-and then a direction to immediately become uhhh ‘outstanding’.

The cell was eventually found…yes you can catch us rejoicing in the streets very soon for it ...but we had some unexpected experiences along our cell-searching way….

Like compassion shown by someone completely unexpected… Anwar Kala of all people. YES… the chai pani loving, always red bucks wanting anatomy hall worker… who gave some much needed cell-finding-advice. It was ironic. Weird. But heart warming…

And to all those grumpy, grim, grouchy people out there who think the world, especially KE, is sucked clean of every possible speck of goodness with the only thing optimistic that can EVER happen in their gloomy lives is surviving a day WITHOUT getting shot by those forever-poop-overloaded pigeons; news flash!!!

THEY….. ARE…. THERE!!!!

Who???? I hear you say.

The heroes!!!

We were given a totally we-did-not-expect-it-despite-all-the–hero-saves-the-day-films-we’ve-seen taste of human goodness;

when the clouds parted...
a beam of sunshine shone in our eyes…
and a complete stranger (from our final) walked up –to give us the cell he’d found lying abandoned!

Yup, they’re there alright… knights in shining armour…

****

Let's sum up with a wise Samwise Gamjee saying from LOTR:

‘…There’s some good in this world Mr. Frodo…and it’s worth fighting for…’
