Russell Crowe... is there any1 better???

I've played my russell crowe dvd so many times, that it's bound to 'pigal'... the disc is always burning hot when I finish with it. But hey...it is justified..... Gladiator, A Beautiful Mind and Cinderella Man... they're just MASTER pieces; awe-inspiring, beautiful stories, with great effects and out-of-the-world acting, that always leave you begging for a re-play.
And the main attraction himself......(drum roll)......... Russell Crowe!!!!!!!!!!

The BEST ACTOR THERE IS IN THE WORLD (Anyone disagreeing?? Ahem... it was nice knowing you pal... care to say your last words?), with every performance breathtaking, every frame that he's in just sooo captivating, every word so believable, and where words aren't spoken, leave it to the tender facial expressions and incredible eyes to speak volumes....:D yup this RC fan can go on n on...
And the films themselves, being stories of a hero's tough walk through life, ALWAYS-its guaranteed- touch you. Be it the story of Maximus, a loyal Roman general forced to seek revenge as a gladiator, or of John Nash, the schizophrenic Maths genius, or James Braddock, a boxer of the great depression era. Every film is packed with thrill, suspense, action but most of all raw human emotions that are bound to leave even the toughest, teary-eyed.

So if there's anyone who hasn't had a taste of RC's acting... go and see Cinderella Man or Gladiator. If you ever feel down in life, feel -less amused ;P these motivating RC films would be just what the doc-or at least this predoc- ordered. Like them, then join my RC club. And if you don't, well it was nice knowing you... now where's my 12inch Swiss knife... oh there it is...;D

The Curse of S. Butt!!!

Ok just finished watchin our Asia Cup match with India...

What the RUDDY HELL IS WRONG WITH OUR TEAM?!!!?!?!?!?!

They get Sooooo close to winnin and then BAM! Kaboom!...you see the other team invading the pitch, rejoicing like nuts... with strangely n always the last 'other team's' batsman having just played the most awesome whack of his career that'll always be remembered as a golden day in his cricketing life, n a day he'll find pleasure in oft-recollecting when he's retired and has falling teeth...

Ah... so that's what our lads CAN do... give 'a career best' to the other team....
Ohhhh.... WHY DO WE PUT UP WITH EM EH???
Afridi, Amir, M Asif, Malik (double yuck!), Akmal... thinking about them now just makes me sick...
and Salman  Butt... tis tis... all that grouping.... n now fate has him scoring big numbers yet NEVER earning a worthy win for the country...

The only worthy thing in the match at the end was Shoaib Akhtar's hand gestures to Harbajan... Now that's what you call a FIGHT...

So now folks this die hard cricket fan has seriously had enough... These green grasshoppers could go to England and sell icecream for all I care... I'm switching to football!
.
.
.
Any chance of our ftball team makin it to the top hundred??? ;p;p

Holzzzz with a reflection!

So we've got a month of scrumptious holidays to pass through! wohoooo ;D

Our last uni day was typical in the sense that we were given a breathtakingly beautiful end of term present by everybody's fav depart... Yup you guessed right!

-A test
-By the man slayers in physio

But we all managed to squirm through it...

AND the non-typical part... a kfc feast with my buds under an awesome weather :D not to forget the laptop show we had. Cracking at the cd we were watching, our laughs bubbled through the air around the white domes of a then deserted KE. Clearly all had fled to have an afternoon of fun with their friends.

This last amusing uni day has made me realize;

a. The weather ALWAYS gets mysteriously awesome whenever we have a physio test...hmm could tip the weather forecasters next time ;p

but more importantly

b.That I've grown fond of life at this white domed mansion of ours (ok that’s a little too many gasps people!).

Staring at pictures from our class function this year,
and then at the convocation pictures of our ex-final in the paper, I get mixed feelings… The ultimate reward of five strained years of tests, giant books and snore-inducing lectures handed to you-your degree- with every student dressed in a graduation gown befitting the occasion perfectly… you just can’t wait for THAT DAY to come! Yet on the other hand, there’s the fact that we have just a few years of uni life to go-and then it'll all be gone. What started from nursery-our student life-would have ended.
Those once together from so many different places, sharing moments of both joy and sadness; laughing at lecture room jokes, slapping high fives, getting tense when a big test was around the corner and then partying after it’d ended… would from then forward have to go their own ways, each having to face the harsh 'real world' out there that student life always seems so separate from.

Pbheeeeeew... sorry! Just had to blow my nose on a tissue there... I'm getting all senti... :' )

I’d like to mention here some cool words by our demo instructor, Sir Ameen. He commented a few weeks ago, that everyone ultimately DOES pass through med-life…the difference is that some just spend their days of youth wrapped in a constant grouchy mood, rote learning their texts all the time while others find time and room to have fun and rock. The latter he believed were better.
The words seemed odd to be coming from Sir Ameen- our serious, smooth, suave gross instructor (also known to be a walking Grays and one of the few demos whose lecture is actually worth listening to!). But him saying it sort of made it official, authentic, realistic and sound.
Sooooo word of advice from Amused Medic by all of this-

'Enjoyth thy uni life whilst thy haveth'- even if it means giving stinky endo and brain tests... a day will come when we'll actually miss all this!

More than half the girls not in class cause of the stage...BUT... amused medic n friends roaming in uni with huge laptops, takin classes n makin a VIDEO..

Girls discussin how to cover the stage syllabus...BUT... we're busy worrying how to cover the vid in time...

People miss the class function cause of the stage...BUT... yours truly is there to have some fun...

Friday: Class function!!! ;D ;D ;D
Saturday: Class function over; no sane person in sight... all have fled with their red books...BUT... fma calmly go around uni askin whoever they can find how they liked the vid...

Monday: written stage...DONT YOU DARE ASK HOW IT WENT IF YOU WANT TO LIVE!!!
Tuesday: spotting; really MIXED things up... spotting the uterus as the spermatic cord...(told you it was MIXED hehehe ;D)
DECIDE TO DEAL WITH THIS ALL BY GOING TO CHAMAN despite our financial crisis...yani no money for a rickshaw back!!!!
Tuesday evening: A.T. helps amused medic, who's feelin completely dazed n out of it... yup this medic actually STUDIES (ok now that's a little too many gasps!)... owe it to my bud A.T.!
Wednesday: vivaaaa with mam nadia;

Mam: what's an episiotomy?
Me:    it must be a sort of cut cause of the word -otomy (;p)
Mam: stare of the century

Wednesday afternoon:
I.find.out.i.passed.

wohoooooo bring out the confetti n fireworks .... APAN PASS HOGYA ;p ;D

So it goes to show... whether you spend your pre stage days only cramming n gettin tense-n hiding in a far away cave living only on bones n paper-...OR you enjoy whatever function there is, have fun, participate in it n help make the BEST ITEM it had... you'll end with a pass in the end.
From my amusing stage experience; I prefer the latter... ;D

a bit of a change

ok so I basically wanted to keep this in english but with a change of principles, I'll be posting stuff in minglish too... yani is tara ;D

Ks & Qs of 2008-2013... f.m.a. PRODUCTION!!!

So we FINALLLLLLLLLLLY had our Class Function :D

and an announcement... yours truly has just been voted 'Most likely to become PM'
... wOoOhoOoO and better more... a great pal of mine has been given the award of 'Most Accident Prone' ;p ;p Now THAT'S the F.M.A. spirit :D

BUT THE MOST AWEEEESOMEEEEEE THIIIIIIIING OF AAAAALL!!!!!!!!!!!!
F.M.A. productions' presentation: 'Ks and Qs of K.E. batch 08-13'

Throwing away all modesty... it was THE BEST item of the evening, the MOST ROCKING AWESOME ULTUMATE COOOOL video there could be made of this class.... covering all our achievements as a class, events and what we've been through together; with pics showing our Kemcolian life of fun, books (:-s), and victories.... it was MASHALAH the MOST ENTHUSIASTICALLY RECEIVED ITEM OF THE EVENT! ... Just can't forget how we were ALL, cheering the pics to the beat of 'STAND UP FOR THE CHAMPIONS...' AWWWWWWWWW

Nooo that is NOT a tear in my eye...NO I'm NOT getting emotional....it's...it's... just the sun in my eyes! what mom?? O yeah good night to you too...uhhhh ooooopsss ;p ;p ;p
In the end, a quick word: loved the way our class as a whole took part in the function.... We rocked! ;D

Passin a Sub!

We had to give the last sub of the abdomen pelvis section...
yuckkkkkkkkkk!!!

Why the disgust??!!
After spending all the demos NOT LISTENING TO A WORD, not caring to OPEN THE BOOK, and finding out what chapters were coming THE LAST DAY, you too wouldn't exactly be rubbing your belly, smacking your lips and saying yum!
....
But news flash... this medic and similar extra chilled friends gave their sub, (seriously my mind was so empty, you could fill a hippo in it and they'd still be space!) and thanks to a oh sooooo angelic Mam S. (bless her sniff sniff :'-D) this medic has passssssssssssed that last sub.
Cheers Mam S..... I wish you a good life and radiant skin(yes something ppl ACTUALLY WANT!)
....amusing it was this sub... ;p
