O! OO! OOOO! CLASS DIARY!!!!!

It's coming!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The Class Diary that I went COMPLETELY N.U.T.S. over to make is coming!!! I'm SO psyched!!!!!!!!!
AAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!

Sadaf was the first to mention it. SHE MADE MY DAY with her words :))))

Anyway, I've mentioned quite a fair few names in the class diary. AND have been through A LOT OF KHAP to  get all those names right!
I've measured every sentence right down to the very last exclamation mark, to make sure no one feels offended.
I've banged my head to come up with good humour bits.
I've edited n edited n edited it so that I could include as many ppl as possible.
So if A.L.L. of them DON'T come up to me to say that the class diary was nice (Yeah I know nice is an understatement :P :P:P but I'll suffice with ANYTHING, ANYTHING!) I. will. explode.

with indignation n anger.
It's all about having  etiquettes.

Watchin the Maaaatch

Dead tired today but watching Pak vs Aussies!!
Our bowling was hell. True, pure Pakistani stuff. Bowling that ripped that canary yellow batting lineup. Ah it was a beauty.
Our batting's still going on. My fav, Younus Khan's up so fingers crossed.

I just want to add a link to an article I read. It's about Shoaib Akhtar's retirement.
I must say, I have to agree with every word. The article made me sad. Shoaib Akhtar was a a proud, moody play boy, but he was a patriot to the core, a character on the field, steered clear of fixing of any sort (of which I have immense respect), was the fastest bowler in the world and a real asset for Pakistan.
He will be missed. Terribly.

HALLOWEEN: THE SURPRISE: B.D. Grave!!!

B.D.
Why did you exist?

Annoyed with anatomy?
Hate that red book??!!
Want revenge??!!
Well I did! And what better time, than when you're giving you're class mates a Halloween surprise eh? :P So here's how I made it:

Styrofoam! Cut in a tomb stone shape...with bars as bricks too!
It cut remarkably easy, was fun :P

Strategically place a styrofoam skull in the mid. Ahhh the peace at heart of making an anatomically incorrect skull... hehe...hard to place in words ;P

Gosh. If only this pic could speak. Sprayed it. And the foam started dissolving. Painted it then sprayed and the same! So I had to suffice with paint. Yeah..me... paint..no I didn't ruin the house if you're wonderin :P

Ahhhhhhhh here you have ready... a juicy, ripe finished B.D. grave.
Juuust ready for you to take pics with to settle that inner anguish of 2 agonising years of horrid anatomy :D

So annoyed with a teacher? A book? An author? A pharma attendent  :P:P?
The above's a way of letting your feeling out :D
Works best on Halloween parties.
Luck! :P

HALLOWEEN: THE SURPRISE

After 3 sleep deprived days, endless anarkali bazaar trips, complete wallet-emptying, utter exhaustion, the annoyance of having to convince people to stay on saturday n have some fun by dressing up...

Finally....

WE did it!!!
Our Halloween theme matched with a...

HALLOWEEN SURPRISE for the class!!

My hand-cut crepe strips! Placed artistically on our fans.. yo I stood on a stool (that stood on the bench) n hung every single 1of them up!
Our pharma HOD saw me n freaked :P
B.D.'s grave... made by yours truly n my sis's help (a bit :P)

Finished B.D. grave in class!!!

Zuzu's makin... :D
Eclairs sticky taped by Mimster for every1!

The theme itself... Halloween... was a class mate's idea...
For the record, the surprise was my idea :P... but the whole thing was a combined effort of our three-some (and our mums n dads... oh n siblings too :P)

Did it pay off?
Heck yeah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The class is happy..!!!!! we're happy!!!!
Yayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!!!
Details n further pics comin soon!!

Grief

I was passing our hospital's ER when I saw...

A man holding tightly to a loved one, crying his heart out. Sobbing, weeping. Clutching for some hope; some warmth; some life, to compensate the one that had been lost.

Everyone was walking past, carefree of his sorrows or rather too caring for their own. The cars drove. The passers-by walked.

And he stood there, clutching and weeping.
Over death.

And though I felt a strong urge to hug or console him in some way, I too like everyone else, walked on.
Too carefree of his sorrow? Or too caring of my own?

If man were immortal he could be perfectly sure of seeing the day when everything in which he had trusted should betray his trust, and, in short, of coming eventually to hopeless misery.  He would break down, at last, as every good fortune, as every dynasty, as every civilization does.  In place of this we have death.  ~Charles Sanders Peirce
